Happy Family
Night Market
2019
Happy Family Night Market is an annual event that celebrates the Asian diaspora through food, art, and education.
As part of a team at Isometric Studio, I developed and directed the design of the event's new identity. Through layering and folding, we created a brand that was inclusive to the diversity of Asian cultures, and eye catching across scales from social media to signage.

The Hands of Labor
2020
Tasked with the digital set up of a beautiful collection of photographs by Damon Winter, I designed and coded The Hands of Labor to offer readers the chance to explore the series themselves. Subtly framed by background details, these portraits can be appreciated individually for their texture or as a group, drawing unexpected parallels and juxtapositions.
Rising
Together
2019
Rising Together is an exhibition detailing the black experience with police in America. By connecting the words and images of individual people with a larger framework of history and theory, Rising Together hoped to provide context and serve as a jumping off point for conversation surrounding this complex issue.
As part of a team at Isometric Studio, I developed a visual kit of parts that accommodated multiple levels of narrative across five themed rooms, and a community gathering space.
Toolkit
2020
The Toolkit for Cooperative, Collective, and Collaborative Cultural Work is an online handbook developed and organized by Press Press and the Institute for Expanded Research to aid in the efforts of cultural organizers.
Along with the Press Press & IER team, I developed Toolkit’s layout & visual design, in addition to executing all front end coding.
Center for Reproductive Rights
2019
As part of a team at Isometric Studio, I helped develop a new brand identity for the Center for Reproductive rights. Nonprofit communications typically raise funds by depicting people as powerless victims in need of saviors. While the Center certainly responds to urgent issues around the world, its brand depicts people and their stories with dignity and agency, emphasizing the power of the rule of law to make long-term structural impacts.
This identity was thoughtfully applied to a number of deliverables including annual reports, social media posts, a new website, and beanies. Typographic and color choices flex to accommodate application needs that range from measured to urgent.
Sis Boom Ah!
2019
As part of a team at Isometric Studio, I helped create an immersive exhibition that celebrates 50 years of undergraduate co-education at Princeton University. Located in a high-traffic campus center, we placed super graphics that imbue the space with the spirit of a parade, and celebrate the achievements of female alumna over the years. Multiple levels of photographic & typographic detail allow viewers to explore the content at their own pace and engage in important conversations around gender on campus.
